The Organization for the Development of Private Participation in Public Projects (ODPP or Minkatsu Kiko) was established in 1987 and has since been earnestly assisting town development projects over a period of 21 years based on consortia of industrial, academic and government (local government) circles.
The Innovation Courier Project was launched in August this year following lengthy preparations since last year with the cooperation of industrial, academic and government circles after a series of studies, research work and discussion meetings. It is sincerely hoped that the Innovation Courier Project will greatly assist the creation of new businesses and further strengthen the existing businesses of your company.

Promotion of Projects to Support the Soft-Type Development Efforts of the Private Sector
The Organization for the Development of Private Participation in Public Projects (ODPP) has been promoting projects to support the soft-type development efforts of the private sector (support for the utilization of existing resources and industries) by means of organizing consortia made up of local public bodies, local enterprises and support groups (of experts and specialist enterprises) for the purpose of revitalizing local industries.
Outline of Projects
During its history of 21 years since its foundation in 1987 to the present, the ODPP has implemented various projects to support the soft-type development efforts of the private sector as listed below.
Townscape Restoration Planning; Marketing Promotion of Local Products; Effective Utilization of Public Halls; Green Stay Garden (Camping Site) Project; Event Support Project (Symposiums, Forums and Conferences);
Health Promoting Home Towns Networking Project: continual project since FY 2004;
Innovation Courier Project: created in FY 2007
